THE best banana cake!
This would have to be the best banana cake (loaf really) recipe ever. I remember this being cooked when I was little, and I am still cooking it now... A few years ago I found the recipe book (The World Guide to Cooking With Fruit and Vegetables, John Goode, 1973) again in an op-shop, and had to get it- even though I already had the recipe. It's such a funky looking book- I love the cover! :o) (Note: if anyone wants to try this, sour milk is just normal milk with a tsp of vinegar added.)
