Eye Spy ... something delicious. (I am still playing along with
this game, even though it's been a long time between overs!!) This weeks theme comes from
Handmaiden.
So this is what I cooked for dinner yesterday - lamb and eggplant kahi curry with tomato and lime chutney. (vegos look away now!! ;o) ) I have been cooking a lot out of
Karen Martini's book 'Cooking at Home'. I love it. It's really accessible
amazing food.
I love cooking from scratch, and watching food develop and transform. From spices, to a rich deep curry after a few hours of simmering on the stove. (Sorry no pics of the chutney- should have taken one, it completes the meal perfectly.)
And something else delicious- more soap! I just made this tonight, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow to be cut. This is a spicy soap- cinnamon bark, nutmeg, fennel and cummin seeds with a bit of orange essential oil. It's smelling pretty delicious so far!
